Welcome to the Website of the Merck Frosst / CIHR Research Chair in Obesity

Ever since 1997, the Research Chair in Obesity is dedicated to support and launch initiatives leading to a better understanding of obesity through research on the mechanisms of body weight regulation, to facilitate communication between researchers, to promote the training of highly qualified personnel, to contribute to continuing education for health professionals, and to inform the public on the causes, consequences, treatments, and prevention of obesity.

This Website was developed to inform researchers, health professionals and the general public of the activities of the Research Chair as well as to support its educative mission towards health professionals and the general public.
